Lately, Anneka has discovered her social side and broken out the smiles.
Sometimes it's a little grin...
... but mostly it's full on grins that lead us to expect a chuckle any minute!
She reminds us of the laughing Buddha at our wedding.
(Jolene was a child bride...)
Mariella remains more pensive and reserved. We think maybe she's studying Anneka's technique before she turns on the charm.

LOL! Love the Buddha analogy; the similarity with the two photos next to each other was quite striking! It gets so fun when the kiddos start smiling, doesn't it?
