Baby Steps...

No, not yet, but it feels like baby steps sometimes for us parents. Every day is packed, what with work, dinner meetings, and projects (for Papa) & feedings, diaper changes, naps, doctor visits, etc. (for Mama); but when we get to the end of the week, we're not sure exactly what we accomplished.
Still, in two days, the twins will be 6 months old, and they seem rather unperturbed by the whole process. Anneka is working her arms with push-ups, and Mariella is honing her balance muscles anytime she can convince someone to help her with standing up. Both are just starting on solid food. (Is rice cereal solid food?) Like we said: baby steps... Thrilling for Mama & Papa, of course, but probably not something we'll be trying to work up into a movie script and peddle in Hollywood.

Meanwhile, Mama & Papa have been able to take the occasional date night. Tonight, we saw Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers play bluegrass music at the Performing Arts Center in SLO.
It was good show and an enjoyable outing, but now we're tired, and going (yawn) to bed.
