Death Valley Trip [video placeholder]

This Sunday morning, we flew to Furnace Creek in Death Valley for brunch with a bunch of Papa's flying friends.
Unfortunately, we mostly took video, not photos. This picture, however, shows the Carrizo Plain and the San Andreas Fault.

It was great fun to finally land and get our ear protectors off. We knew we'd get to walk around pretty soon, too!

Yup, it's an oasis at Furnace Creek, complete with springs and natural pools!

I don't want to sound like I'm ripping on the Eden - PURE, but the couple of opinions I had been able to get and read weren't really encouraging or positive. But many shy away from using them after reading horror stories of house fires that were caused because of their use. The HZ-7200 is rated at 1500 watts using your household 120 volts but I used a watt meter and was reading a lower wattage which is typical for all appliances.
