We met up with Uncle Gary and Aunt Gail at Schiphol airport in Amsterdam and we were all excited to get on the bike trails...
We took time to take pictures and check out the bicycle stop lights.
Our route to Utrecht was scenic with canals, boats, bridges and homes. We also had our one 20 minute rain shower (not enough to dampen our enthusiasm).
We asked this man for directions as we came close to our bed and breakfast... he gave us directions, but then looked confused as he stated we were headed to the industrial district...
upon our arrival we joined into his confusion, wondering if this could be were we were spending the night. After a phone call on Uncle Gary's handy cell phone, and a quick bladder break in the trees next to the polite (police department)....
We were off to the countryside... a more likely area to find our bed and breakfast, and arrived to find much more comfortable digs!
We were really hungry and rewarded ourselves with tasty Chinese food!
